Symphony Health unveils iRewards to members

Speaking at a press conference yesterday, company spokesperson, Sandra Chadehumbe said the new product designed to offer members discounts and information on travel, dining, health entertainment, household items, childrens’ activities holidays and much more.
One of the lifestyle benefits in iRewards is iAssist. The iAssist is a 24-hour telephonic assistance service, where the customer is provided with information to help make sound decisions that assist with saving time, money and reducing stress.
Chadehumbe said under the product, they also have iShopping, which is a service that helps Symphony clients find whatever product and service they want with the company negotiating for the best possible price on the customers’ behalf.
Another benefit is iTravel, which provides customers with travel service, from airfare and car hire to accommodation and tours.
iHome Assist, a 24-hour service that dispatches professional and household service providers such as glaziers, locksmiths, plumbers, electricians and builders. Other wellness benefits include ‘The wellness library’ where one can access wellness topics online ranging from heart health and nutrition to tips on how to stop smoking and more.
“Online Health Risk Assessment, is an assessment that gives the customer a better understanding of health risk related lifestyle behaviours including heart health, cancer risk, nutrition, physical activity, weight, tobacco and alcohol use, safety and stress management that can contribute to chronic disease,” she said.
The medical health insurance company is also introducing mobile apps whereby a member achieves badges and earns points for reaching a reward milestone for food intake, physical activity and wellness challenge. Members can also track their health activities and view points by using the app, which is available for download for apple and android users.
”Wellness eCoaching is an online coaching programme that supports positive lifestyle changes. “There are five eCoaching programmes available to the customer such as weight management, smoking/tobacco cessation, nutrition, fitness and stress management.
A customer can enrol in any of the programmes, which come with lessons and assignments and a customer is awarded with coaching credits for completing daily activities,” she added.
