“We selected people that are already doing amazing things mainly young people who have created careers around their creativity hence why the Sneaker Expo’s aim is to promote creativity. It will focus on how one can commercialise creativity, knowledge and talent,” said Glory Powane the event’s marketing coordinator.
The various anchors are expected to share knowledge in the various fields they specialise on such as media, marketing, fashion and entrepreneurship.
Last year the event was fairly attended and the audience was impressed by the various anchors such as Fortune who gave out tips on how one can grow their brand.
Apart from the workshop she noted that there would be an exhibition of sneakers from different retailers and sneaker collectors.
“We have invited local street wear brands as well as local sneaker collectors. The aim of the expo is to bring sneaker retailers, leading sneaker manufactures, consumers under one roof and educate the consumers about the sneaker products.”
The event will be fused with some entertainment such as the MCee battle that will see a number of young rappers battling each other.
