Prince Ketlogetswe from Shakawe, Wisiso Tsietso from Maun and Gaontebale Tsietso from Kauxwi are the members of the still picture photography company that has captured the hearts of photo lovers.

They simply chronicle and preserve life moments through the lens.

From humble beginnings, Gaontebale started photography with a small pocket camera and grew with time to buy more advanced equipment in 2010. His equipment worth P120,000 was stolen twice but he never gave up on his dream.

Though Ketlogetswe, Wisiso and Gaontebale  are close relatives, the language of photography brings them even closer. Last year, Gaontebale went to seek funds from government and was able to secure P100,000 as funding to buy world class equipment that allowed them instant printing of photos where ever they go.

“We are a mobile photographic company and we do outdoor and indoor shootings like corporate conferences, parties, profiles, baby and bridal showers and other events that need the lens with no limit. We instantly print pictures of different sizes from the biggest to the smallest and we don’t do videography. We specialise in still pictures for the purpose of focus on quality,” Ketlogetswe said.

Gaontebale who funded the company from scratch is confident to reveal that he has the best team: with Ketlogetswe being the most vocal and talented in marketing, incorporated with Wisiso’s technical talent and willingness to learn, the team delivers the best services in photography.

“Together we bring team work and we strive for customer satisfaction and quality. We use world class cameras and printing equipment and we don’t compromise quality.

We have amassed a large clientele of happy customers who use our services regularly because of our quality assurance,” Ketlogetswe said.

Ketlogetswe reveals that none of them has a photography qualification, but their God given talents have been able to put food on the table. He said the business is doing quite well and they are also changing the mindset of people towards photography.

He mentioned that they are out there to show the world that one can actually make a living out of photography and they have so far penetrated the unusual market of landscape and tourism photography.

Though there are still challenges of clients who do not honour their appointments and those who still take photography for granted, the trio is confident and optimistic of success in their job.  So far their clientele include corporates, individuals, churches, celebrities and the popular gospel TV show has kept their business going.

The company has secured an office space in Gaborone next to Kims locking keys where they print quality images on quality paper using the state of the art equipment.

They encourage other young people to look beyond the already saturated job market and use their talent and passion to defy unemployment odds.
