Tshego, Gemini Major to host 267 Views

267 Views is a party event conceptualised by local rapper Veezo, as a celebration having had a successful rap career last year, which saw him getting airplay in all radio stations and performance bookings every week.

“If you are ready then I am ready.  Yoh Gabz city BW waddup it’s the most special Tshego and Gemini Major on the 2nd of February we will be in your city. Diamond Dust meet and greet later that night we doing 267 Views, (sic)” Tshego stated in a promo video seated with Gemini Major.

The two South African-based artists are no strangers to the Botswana audience.  They have previously headlined a number of events and also came to perform in the country with their recording label boss, Cassper Nyovest. They have also collaborated with artists such as Ban T and Yaw Bannerman.

The event will see the host, Veezo staging a performance alongside upcoming rapper WNDR with the hosts also sampling a number of tracks.

“Tshego and Gemini Major are my close friends I have worked with them for a long time and I decided to bring them as hosts in celebration of the Veezo brand which did extremely well last year, we celebrating a good 2017. It is also a night of celebrating good local music,” Veezo said.

Last year saw Veezo’s Pre Visa mixtape having some of the most played local hip hop songs in the country.  It has songs such as Zaka, which has been an anthem at most night spots.

He stated that the celebration means that this year will also be a great one, as he is set to drop new musical content in the coming month.
