The young woman recently signed to Heart Beat after her contract with Off Campus came to an end. It was at Off Campus where she recorded and released an album dubbed B Defined.
“I am working on a new EP, which will be released very soon. I can confidently say this is my debut full-length project as Bouncy. I have phased out that album, I don’t consider it mine anymore and I don’t want to talk about it further,” Bouncy said.
She said when she worked on the first album she was not aware of what she was doing and was also surrounded by the wrong people in her profession.
“I have switched up and the music is better. In the previous project it was not good,” she said. At Heart Beat the pop artist is working closely with veteran music producers, Prez Beatz and Bangu.
“At Heart Beat I feel at home I have got to learn a lot of things since my stay here, both with Bangu and Prez Beatz, has taught me to be musical and take my craft more seriously. If you notice all the songs I released when I came this side have been number one on different radio station charts.”
Describing the sound on the EP, which she considers her debut project Bouncy said it will be a fusion of urban and traditional sounds, but her hip hop and RnB style will be dominant. She is likely to feature different Heart Beat-signed artist such as Frost and Licky on the project.
“We still have not decided on the dates and names, but we will start of by releasing singles as a build up to the EP release,” Bouncy said.
