The rapper had recently highly publicised that the album will be released this month on various media and social media platforms. ‘‘Despite announcing the release dates of the album with time I felt I needed to perfect a couple of things so I deliver a high definition quality album. There is no need to rush, I can say the album is fully done, itís a few things that I am working on,î Touch Motswak Tswak said.
As a compensation for his fans, the rapper recently released a single from the album titled Touch Me that premiered on different radio stations around the country and on Botswana Television (BTV). On the single he featured Bongani.
Describing the sound on the album, he noted that it contains raw original Motswako content, which is regarded by many as the main stream Motswako hip hop. ‘‘I felt like it has been a longtime since an album of such a calibre has been released and Motswako fans have been yearning for such related musical content. I can also say its packed with some inspirational hip hop content,’’ the Ko Teng Teng rapper said.
In the production the rapper worked with a number of local producers such as Yung Fella, Rimzy and Poetic Scientix, to mention but a few. He featured his sister Kearoma Rantao, Fosta Julliano, Bongani and Ozi F Teddy.
The Ramotswa native urged companies to support and collaborate with him as an appealing brand that can also help their brands to gain mileage.
‘‘The title of the album says it all, I have a hustler’s mentality and every move I make has an objective of winning and getting money. My first album was called Fresh 2 Tswak because I was still fresh in the industry now I am a grown up and I am a hustler.’’ When the rapper announced that he will be releasing a sophomore album it came as a shock to his followers because he had previously announced an early retirement in the music industry citing that musicians are not well treated and catered for in the country.
