“We are finally launching the album this Thursday I will perform and sample a number of tracks on the album. I will be selling and signing copies of the album too on the day,” ATI said. With ATI being a man of surprises one would wonder what the rapper has in store for his fans during the album launch.
He was quick to explain himself as to why the album release kept on being postponed stating that the music content was not up to par and he was facing financial difficulties. He has previously mentioned that the legal issues he was facing caused some of the constraints.
“The album has a variety of sound, the focus is on the emotions and the message it carries encourages people to keep pushing despite the difficulties they face. Upon the release of the album the aim is to sell 100,000 copies in a certain timeframe and create a fortune out of this album,” the award winning rapper said.
Judging by the singles that have been released such as Khiring Khiring Khorong Khorong it seems the album has a new ATI signature sound, which is more hippy and has pop influence. On the 19-track album the rapper worked with a variety of upcoming and established artists and producers such as Sasa Klaas, Ozi F Teddy, Koola, Favi, Lif Aman, Risq and Slim Kid.
The collaboration with Ozi F Teddy is one of the much-anticipated tracks on the album as many are keen to listen to it since the two have been beefing for the past year and recently made up.
ATI’s album release launch of will be part of Chez Nicolas’ Hip Hop and RnB Live Sessions Amplified hosted by veteran rapper Scar with the likes of DJ Scratch, Zeak and Tumie Blackace on the decks.
