A night with Lee

This is Lee’s first performance in a long time after having released a number of singles in the previous years .
“This will be an RnB night whereby I will be performing my new and old tracks with a live band. The idea behind it really is to take music to the people and it will be an RnB night really. As much as I have also done house music, this night will be about RnB,” said Lee.
Lee stated that it will be more like telling his musical journey which started in 2002 as he will be fusing his new and old music during the performance.
Despite local RnB artists not getting much love from the local audience, Lee said he will continue pushing the local RnB movement and leave memories behind.
Apart from performing his own music, the musician will also sample a number of local covers in an RnB version.
Talking of his long hiatus, Lee stated that he faced technical issues on two different occasions when he was about to release his music last year and the year before.
“I had serious technical issues. First my computer crashed and I had to work on retrieving it.
“Then the studio that I was recording at was broken into with all the equipment that had the music stolen.”
Lee is to perform with a seven-piece band. Acts such as Taf Naz and Kennedy Thal will also perform during the event as curtain-raisers.
