The band excited to have received another Europe invitation

The band is set to perform in France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Nexus, Freiburg and Bremen.

“We are excited to have received another Europe invitation with us being the main acts not supporting anyone. Due to the demand by fans, which has always made us feel at home that side, European promoters raised money so that we undertake the tour,” said Tshomarelo ‘Vulture Thrust’ Mosaka, the band lead vocalist.

The moment the band jets into France, they would have close to 16 shows in different locations almost on a daily basis.

During this European tour, the band will work on collaborations with different European acts as they are currently in talks.

Prior leaving for Europe, the Gantsi-based band will stage a farewell gig in the capital city late this month. They are scheduled to perform in Angola just before they leave for Europe.

“We have also received record deal offers from different European recording labels, but we are still assessing the offers as we want to work with a reliable record company that is trustworthy,” said Vulture Thrust. Last year the band was selected to represent Africa at the International Summer Festival at Kampnagel-Hamburg. In 2015 the group won the Best Death Metal Band award at the Africa Metal Awards.

The band has a huge fan base in Europe, which can be easily seen on their YouTube video with a number of German people commenting. The band has also gone to receive wide international media coverage since they are one of the few death metal bands in Africa. Locally, the band has a following from mostly rock music lovers, but not receiving much love from music promoters as they are hardly invited to perform at high profile events around the country. Another major challenge they face locally is lack of airplay from radio stations.
