Love Girls is the rapper’s fourth studio album that was officially released in South Africa this June.
“Reason will be touring the country to launch his album at MKOP where he will stage a performance, sample the new album and get to share the stage with local artists during the night,” Carnido Ontiretse Tshiamiso who handles Reason’s administration in Botswana, said.
He noted that this will not just be an ordinary album launch, but a celebration of the album and the relationship that the rapper has with local artists.
He will be sharing the stage with veteran rapper, Scar who he collaborated with some time back on a track titled, Papa.
“With Reason coming to launch his album this side we are looking forward to growing the relationship between local and international artists. This is the other reason why he will be sharing the stage with Scar, not Scar opening the show for him. It is about collaborations.”
Tshiamiso stated that during his three-day visit in the country Reason will record and feature on tracks for free with local artists that are yet to be mentioned. The rapper normally charges close to P20,000 to feature.
“He will be very interactive during his visit, he will do a massive media tour so he can get in touch with his Botswana fans.”
The rapper is no stranger in Botswana as he has worked with Scar and Lizibo. He has also staged performances in the capital city.
The Love Girls album carries 14 tracks and features a number of artists from his country such as Kwesta, Ginger Trill and Moozlie to mention but a few.
The album launch will also feature the likes of DJ Izzy, Zeak, Khenzo, Casper the DJ, Mcx wa Bana, Geespot and will be hosted by the German Twins.
