MAP students help paint old Naledi new

About 50 students volunteered to help with painting and some residents lent a helping  hand as Dulux provided them with the paints. The students  joined hands with paint company, Dulux, which has already re-painted almost half of Old Naledi houses  as part of their community initiative.  On  Saturday, the MAP students added to the  Dulux numbers with their chosen houses.

However, the MAP students chose to repaint three selected houses belonging to the famillies they have identified to support with food baskets every week.MAP student Adjoa Quanioo,  also a  member of the Naledi Feeding Service said they have long wanted to paint some of the residents' houses they found in a dilapidated state and posed a health risk. However, when they approached Dulux about the idea they learnt that the company was already doing a lot in the area.  Ouanioo said MAP's Naledi Feeding  initiative project has been operational for more than 30 years and provides food to some Old Naledi residents.
