Kanye hosts Botswana's first drug and alcohol rehab

Addressing members of Ntlo Ya Dikgosi, Ikageng Rehabilation Centre Managing Director, Ernest Bokete said the centre will be located at Ramatea.

The facility is envisaged to be the main centre with smaller branches and service points across the country.

The proposed centre is a fully registered and citizen owned enterprise, which will attend to some psychosocial problems from time to time with its main focus on alcohol and drug abuse. The facility will follow holistic and mutually exhaustive integrated approaches to address issues of awareness, intervention and prevention.

The centre will engage Group therapies, Faith Based, Pharmaco, Individual, Evidence, Cognitive and Manipulative therapies as patient intervention and treatment methods. It is expected to be complete by end of 2013.
