Comets eager to move further up the log

Comets have moved to seventh spot from 10th last week, but are aware of the stubbornness of the Kgatleng side which inflicted pain on them with a 1-0 victory away in Modipane. But sixth placed MU could find themselves in trouble if they approach the match with arrogance. The two sides are not safe from relegation at this stage. Fresh from a 6-1 drubbing by Letlapeng last week, Masitaoka are looking to turn the tables in the return fixture in Molepolole.  Still tomorrow, Prisons XI, who failed to turn the tide against ailing Black Peril in the last first round game last week, are itching to rekindle their old magic as their position at the summit of the log looks threatened following the goalless draw.

Digger Montwedi's side cannot afford to take their foot off the pedal at this crucial stage and would go into the game determined for an important win and keep the chasers trailing.  But Peril, who face the prospect of going down to regional football, will come out with guns blazing as they attempt to move off the foot of the log.
