Baby on the way for Slizer?

Earlier last year, the Bobonong-born songster tied the knot with her private investigator partner. The two lovebirds first met in Johannesburg where her husband works as a bodyguard for a South African business tycoon who owns a chain of hotels.

According to a close family friend, the couple is expecting their first child as the performer is four months pregnant. Slizer has a 10-year-old son named Bibo who also has an album under his belt. Shortly before getting married, Slizer expressed how happy she was that her talented son would have a male figure to look up to.

'She is four months pregnant and quite excited about it. Of course, she may not want to reveal this in the media as yet but sooner or later everyone will see for themselves,' said the source. Asked about this baby bump, Slizer neither confirmed nor denied this only saying having a child is something she and her husband have planned for.

'Obviously that is something we have planned with my husband but this is a bit private and it should be a surprise to the public. I know (having a baby) it is something my husband looks forward to but let's leave it there for now,' she said. Slizer also said: 'pregnancy or no pregnancy, I have to make the best of 2013', adding she is currently writing songs for her next album.

Her high quality DVD for the album Diwewewe, estimated to have cost her P100, 000 to make, was quite successful and she said she aims to produce an even better one for the next album. Asked about how she spent the just ended holidays, she said she is excited about having spent time with her husband but is disappointed that she did not earn much money over the holidays. 'The year has started off well, although I did not make money during the festive,' she said.

Slizer expressed that since she is a married woman now, people should be able to separate her life in the music industry from her marital one.'I have a job as an artiste and my husband understands that. But my job has nothing to do with my family life. I would want to be known as Slizer 'the dancer and singer in music circles' rather than a mother and wife.'
