Comedian releases Radijo in prison part 2 CD

This project follows Radijo in Prison Part 1, which was produced in 2012.  According to Madiane, the DVD is all about Radijo and features him.  Apparently Radijo was imprisoned for five years and left his wife and children at home.  Then one day he escaped from prison, he could not believe what he saw when he discovered that his wife was eight months pregnant.

According to Madiane, the poor woman was lonely and ended up cheating on Radijo because she could not live without a partner.  'She also needed a man who could assist in feeding her children since she was unemployed and only depended on Radijo,' explains Madiane.

By the time Radijo entered the yard, he was shocked to see his wife expecting and he did not say any word to her.  'Mo pelong o ne a bua are banna! Mogalamakapa! Bophokoje ba mo feditse', (They finished her up) and instead Radijo took a spade and hit the wife on her stomach.  'Unfortunately the poor woman lost her child and lucky enough she survived,' Madiane said.Apparently Radijo left prison in an amazing way and up to now prison officials and other convicts wonder how he managed to escape. 'O dule ka botsotsi mo toronkong a tla mo gae ka gore o ne a nna a akantse mosadi wa gagwe gore o phorwaphorwa ke mang,' says Madiane.  Radijo did not jump the fence and surprisingly escaped through the gate but no one saw him.

Radijo In Prison Part 2 is the 10th DVD release so far.  The first is Mmasepekere, then Mmasepekere Part 2, Leso La Ga Phonko, Phonko O Tsogile, Sekhwechekhweche, Radijo At Nandos, Radijo At Barcelos, Leso La Makatadimeche then Radijo In Prison Part 1 and the new project, Radijo In Prison Part 2. Apart from his DVDs Madiane has recorded four CDs: Madume Dumelang recorded in 2003; Maitshwaro (2004); Khutsanyana (2006); and Mmasepekere recorded (2007).  The first two CDs were recorded at Dargie Digital Studios, Gaborone.  The rest were recorded by Sunshine Recording Studio in South Africa.
