It finally came in the 33rd minute when a superb strike from the promising Rice from outside the box found the back of the net. The halftime whistle after the home side camped in the GNT half for long periods. After the break, Two-Two-Five continued launching attack after attack but the GNT goalkeeper stood tall between the posts. As Two-Two-Five tired, their opponents took advantage and started attacking.

However, goalkeeper Mpho Besi was equal to the task and thwarted GNT raids. GNT remand potent on attack and should have found an equaliser.
