Braai festival launches

 Speaking at the media conference the Braai Festival coordinator Mothusi Seitshiro said this is also an ideal event that will allow meat lovers to have fun while taking a bite of locally produced juicy beef, boerewors and chicken braai.  He promised that the event that will be family friendly will be packed with fun activities that include jumping castles for the young ones while the parents and elderly will be involved in many fun activities like braai competition for media houses, the public where the best chef will be chosen in the beef, chicken or boerewors competition as there will be different prizes to be won that include cell phones, weekend for two at a chosen local lodge and countless other prizes.

' Local celebrities will also take part in these competition to show off their braaing skills outside their professional life,' he highlighted. The event that is hosted by Lee Lame Investment and Palm Groove will also have lots of entertainment from local entertainment from local DJs such as Ricky Lamar, DJ Chrispin and many more.

Klipdrift, Distill has also partnered with the organisers to spice up the fun with their fine beverages and vows to be part of the initiative to the end as 'where meat is,  it shall be paired with its beverage family to extend the fun and make the meat even more edible,' said one of its representatives.

The braai festival will be on the 23rd of March at Botanical Gardens in Village opposite Gaborone  Club. Tickets  include two drinks of the attendee's choice, either alcohol or non-alcoholic drink. It is expected to be an annual event and if it succeeds it will be celebrated countrywide, according to the organisers.
