Modise's smash album to hit the shelves

 

The album title, according to Modise, who is commonly known as Belerutwana, talks mostly about friends who come with different agendas and that some are not incapable of deceit and malice while others are humane.He describes the title track as an eye-opener and advises the public to be wary and put everything in the hands of God who shows light on everything.

The 38-year-old bachelor from Goo-Tau, says he started singing when he was doing Standard Three.He said that when he reached 21-years-old, he joined the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) and started to nurture his talent, singing in the church before joining the Francistown Boys Choir (FBC) in 1994.

Modise said that through FBC he realised that he had talent, which he needed to nurture on his own and that was when he released his debut album, titled Madi A Jeso in 2010.He has released his second album, Meno Masweu, which he says, should leave listeners asking for more.

Modise's melodious and soothing voice, driven by his love for gospel music, is set to have the listeners agog with the 12-track album recorded at EmJoe Records in Francistown.According to Modise, the first track, Tshaba - talks mostly about Satan, who is always out there to deceive the unwary.

'In the song Satan is described as an ambiguous animal that looks like a bat and has horns and is set to come into people in different ways,' he said.The second track, Sebataladi is about people who are out there to swindle people and that those people need prayer so that they can abandon their wicked ways.

The third track is instrumental while other tracks include Ke Tshabetse Go Wena, Lethabo, Ke Sekelwe, Nikotima, Motholo, Jonus (sic), Bodibeng, Mokete and Re Ya Go Boka.Lastly, he said that he would also be travelling around the country to promote the album as well as the DVD.He has so far been to places like Palapye, Selebi-Phikwe and Francistown.
