HT's album promises to be big hit

 

Titled 30 The Journey the album will drop end of next month. The name was inspired by the muso having celebrated his 30th birthday recently and he tells ShowTime that the album is all about his life's journey.

'The album is about me from the day I was born, growing up in Maun, my life after school, in the music industry, when I started dating to my life as a son, brother, father and a husband,' he says.So far the single I gotta go from the album is getting massive airplay in all local radio stations.

'My single is doing very well, it's been number eight in both GABZ FM and RB2 music countdown and people are loving it,' he says. Many may remember Tautona from his previous hits, his political song Hanne ke kgona, and Beat it. The talent singer is adored and appreciated by many as he does hip pop in his vernacular language, Setswana.

He assures ShowTime that this album is different from his previous work as its more mature and unique as it sums up his personal life. ' I can proudly say it's the best work I have ever done and if I were to compare it with my previous album I would say the content is much more conscious and real life situations specifically things I went though or people I know went through,' he says, Songs to look out for in the album, he says are, So-called friends, which addresses the issue of fake friends that a lot of people have, and Celebrate, a song in which he celebrates his life especially his achievements as a father, husband and growing as a brand. HT Tautona, who got married in 2010, says he enjoys being a husband as married life keeps one focused.The album features some of Botswana's finest artists, including Lizibo, Sean Truz and Chubb heights and was produced by different produces, namely Lesh D, Taku j, Doggy shade, TR Hitz, Tebogo Mathiba, Phoenix, Rimzy and D.O.G, just to name a few.
