ATI wows F/town fans

At a fully packed Lizard Entertainment in Francistown, A.T.I performed his latest offering which was released last Friday making it a point that his Francistown fans are the first to taste his latest single live and direct.Drawing conclusions from how Francistown fans responded to the single at a show dubbed 'Unite in One Nite' for Ba ISAGO and BOTHO Colleges' students, the single will definitely take the music scene by a storm. A.T.I sang a few songs from his current album such  as Polao Ya Motho, Ke Lekethe and Batho Bame during the music show held at the Lizard Entertainment - the artist's first music show in the country's second largest city this year.

The seemingly sold-out show lived up to its billing as tertiary students especially the female folks screamed on top of their voices as soon as the performer jumped on to the club's stage. Dressed in a black T-Shirt with drawings of stars and moon that matched his trademark dropping black tear, simply mesmerised his fans. His usual following comprising of young boys and girls waited patiently until the musician trot onto the stage.

The Serowe-born artist started performing at around midnight. This is despite the fact that his loyal followers had long filled the nightclub as early as 8:00 pm in anticipation that the performer will start performing much earlier. He performed alongside Francistown based disc jockeys (DJs). 'The supporting acts were allocated more than two hours each as a way of promoting them,' said one of the show organisers.

A.T.I left many asking for more despite having performed for almost three hours. Fans could not just have enough of the musician popularly known as Ke Lekethe in the music industry due to his type of music. The young artist got off the stage at around 230 in the morning when the cops had arrived. Even the power supply that was temporarily disconnected due to the ongoing load shedding exercise by the power utility never dampens the spirits of the revelers.
