Generations's MJ rocks monate fela annual festival

Makubalo has gained recognition and popularity in Botswana through one of Mzanzi's biggest soapies, Generations, where he plays the role of a spoiled young man and son of rich businesswoman Mawande Makubalo.

When introduced as Naak Musiq on stage, many did not know who that was but immediately after the master of ceremonies (MC) announced that MJ was next on stage the fully packed Bull 'n Bush hall roared in happiness even people who were sitting outside and at the pool bar flooded the dancing floor to see the man of the night they had long waited for.

The singer/actor, also known as Naak Musiq in the music industry, drove the night crawlers wild more especially the women who could not resist his charms. The minute he got on stage they screamed on top of their voices that made it almost impossible to hear what this star was saying. Some of the girls standing near the stage were so over excited that they tried to climb the stage in a bid to meet the star but were repelled by security personnel.

Makubalo sung some of his songs as the crowd sang along, including his famous song Move. When the night started off one of the country's hottest DJs, DJ Kuchi spiced the house up with some scintillating house music and  R& B blended with hip hop. After his bit DJ Scratch showed the crowed what he is made of as he beautifully scratched his discs keeping the night crawlers on their toes as they shook what their mamas gave them.DJ Ricky Larmar, it was a different story. The talented DJ wowed everyone, including revellers who seemed to have come only to see the man of the moment, MJ. He rocked the house, keeping many people off their feet while some gazed at him in admiration.

Other DJs, who kept the rhythm on, were Kells and Izzy who played alongside each other making a very strong team that raised the waves on the club with hip hop, R and B and dance hall leaving the crowd sweating as they danced the night away.
