JIC, Hyman add lustre to CIA's fete

The church's choir, with a number of singers from JIC, has made an important part of the church's revelries this week.CIA started on February 12 last year and is in a celebratory mood this week.Hyman, based in South Carolina, United States has also not let the attendees down in the three nights he has ministered.He has been guest speaker at the week-long merriments and took time to encourage the church to soldier on. 'Sometimes the tests God puts you through don't make sense. Whenever God takes you through a test it's not because he is taking you through it to destroy you.

It's to let you know you are on the mind of God,' he said, drawing loud applause from attendees.He added that each time one goes through a tough situation; they must understand God has a way for them to escape. 'He always has a way for you to move out of it.' Hyman also challenged congregants to rise up and become what God ordained them to be. 'What God has placed inside of you can never be duplicated because you are the original.You are the one God is going to use. There is originality inside of you.' He stressed need for the church in Botswana to work together as a unit saying the reason ministries are falling is because pastors are not standing together.

He spoke with conviction that coming is a time when government will begin to work hand-in-glove with the churches.His statement comes a few days after his host, Prophet Mogotsi Baloyi stressed that government must know that the church is indispensable.In reference to love and relationships, he warned the church against worthless dating. 'How can females date males less than their value? When you make an investment make sure the value measures up to what is in you.'Hyman is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts in Music Degree from Allen University and a Doctorate of Divinity from the International Overcoming School of Religion in Columbia. He is frequently sought for ministry in conferences throughout the United States and internationally. He is known for his unorthodox style of organ playing and his accurate prophetic gift that brings healing and spiritual restoration.
