Makgabaneng movie to be known as Mareledi on Btv

The popular local radio drama 'Makgabaneng' that is now being adopted for television hosted auditions on Saturday for aspiring actors for the new TV drama to be known as Mareledi on Btv.

Executive director Nelson Phoga said in an interview that the name Mareledi is similar to Makgabaneng as it explains that life is not a smooth journey because people go through obstacles everyday and this drama aims at trying to demonstrate ways of avoiding or dealing with life difficulties.

"We are trying to build hope into hopeless situations (Mareledi a botshelo)," emphasised Phoga. Phoga also pointed out that they are planning to add more characters to the story and so far, they have been getting positive responses from Batswana.
