The IRC seeks to render best results in the construction sector

In order to undertake a constant review of the state of the country’s engineering infrastructure, the Botswana Institution of Engineers (BIE) will develop a national Infrastructure Report Card (IRC) during the second half of next year.

The IRC is a report that illustrates the state of engineering infrastructure in a country, providing a collective opinion provided by engineers in the manner of expert witness, on the current condition and performance of the country’s infrastructure.

Responding to BusinessWeek enquiries this week BIE president, Oagile Kanyeto said the IRC seeks to ensure that appropriate advice can be given as regards to operation, maintenance, repair, or replacing of the infrastructure.
