Gaborone Sun Wins Global Award

The Gaborone Sun has for the second year running won the coveted World Travel Award for being Botswana's leading hotel.

Over 167,000 leading professionals in the travel industry, from over 160 countries nominate and vote in the awards described by the Wall Street Journal as the 'Oscars of the travel industry'.

The World Travel Awards were launched in 1993 with a vision to identify, acknowledge and recognise excellence in the global travel and tourism industry. The awards are regarded as the highest achievement that a travel, hospitality and tourism product can achieve.  Gaborone Sun was recognised at the recent awards' ceremony in Durban, South Africa.
