Govt called to review Tourism Policy

A new report prepared under the framework of the Private Sector Development Programme (PSDP) has called on government to review the national tourism policy in order to enhance the competitiveness of the tourism industry.

It highlighted that there are also regulations that are creating barriers to entry for small, medium and micro-sized enterprises (SMMEs), preventing some small-scale operators to be involved in the tourism sector.
