The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort has upped the ante in the industry by investing a staggering P7.2 million into the revamping of its new casino floor. Gaming Manager, Kennedy Ntire, who also oversaw the project, revealed that more than 60% of the P7.2 million was spent went on the acquisition of new casino machinery.
“We invested a total of P7.2 million in this project and if you look around you will see the difference. “A total of P6.4 million was allocated to slots acquisition and relocation,” Ntire said on Tuesday during a tour. Ntire shared that the Grand Palm was able to acquire over 20 new machines for the casino.
“I am thrilled to share that we have added 24 brand new slot machines to our floor, taking the count up to 167. These machines are not just additions; they are symbols of the future of gaming,” he said. The gaming manager added that the new slots machines are the start of a great era in the realm of casinos in Botswana, as they introduce players to a wide range of opportunities that did not exist before.
“These advancements are more than just technological upgrades as they reflect our dedication to providing a modern exciting environment,” he said. “Now players can enjoy new titles including 88 fortunes, Five Treasures, Mo Mummy, Queen of the Nile, Coin Collector, Going Cash and more,” Ntire said.
The gaming manager stated that the old floor was part of the renovations that were implemented. Grand Palm spent over P800,000 on table upgrades and relocation costs, creating a more spacious, accessible and comfortable setting, he said.
Ntire highlighted that the move to revamp the casino was not only necessitated to stay ahead of times but also driven by the understanding that the guest experience is paramount in the gaming business.
Meanwhile, General manager, Keletso Bogatsu shared that she hopes that the machines would be used to their best capability by attracting new customers.
“We believe these improvements will not only attract new guests but will also deepen the loyalty of our returning patrons. “Our goal has always been to provide an exceptional gaming experience and we are confident that these upgrades will elevate that experience to new heights,” Bogatsu said.
