Mmegi photojournalist, PHATSIMO KAPENG, hit the streets this week to gauge people’s opinions on the state of the economy. Many are deeply depressed. He samples a few of the responses

Mpho Kebosietswe, 22 All I can say is that the situation is deteriorating further because there are no jobs and people are still losing their jobs. Government efforts are not visible in alleviating Batswana from this crisis.

If I remember correctly, during the 2019 elections government promised to create employment for Batswana but I am not seeing anything to suggest that being the case.

Is our screening adequate?

Sadly, we live in a society that seems to be losing its moral fibre by the day.When parents take their children to a boarding school they do so to give them a brighter future, not to have some dirty paedophilic predator to prey on them.
