CiCi: The charismatic girl and gangster of music :: Mmegi Online

Her stage name is CiCi, which she says, means charismatic. She is a female poet, rapper, hip-pop dancer, model and actress.But many now know the 22-year old Kgomotso Molalapata from her powerful performance on Friday in the popular television programme, Flava Dome. Dressed in all black and with heavy make up to match, CiCi caught many people’s attention when she appeared as if she is a female version of A.T.I.

“It’s funny because a lot of people think I am inspired by A.T.I but I am not although I think we have something in common like our energy on stage is on another level but I would like to believe that I have my own attitude and style,” she says.

She points out that this attitude has two sides – the girly and the gangster. CiCi told Showbiz that what she displayed on Friday was the gangster side, which people love.
