Just a few months after the launch of her first book, Casey Letsholo has published yet another book titled ‘The Political Blueprint’. The book is co-authored with Sussan Mokotedi, Dr Phenyo Caiphus and Omphile Begwe.

At the beginning of this year, Letsholo was a rookie author but seven months later, she already has three books under the belt. It was in March this year when she published her first book dubbed, ‘She Found Her Power’ which focused on the girl-child.

The 23-year-old never looked back as she then published her second book titled, ‘Stoicism’ which she co-authored with Dr Caiphus and Begwe. In an interview with Arts & Culture, the Metsimotlhabe-born said she never thought she would make such great strides in a short time as an author. “I never thought I would be an author of three books in a space of five months but with God, everything is possible and I want to say this really makes me happy to be producing such masterpieces and I intend to do more of this,” she said. With the new book, Letsholo elucidated that politics is almost part of everyone’s lives globally, so their intent with the book is to get people to understand the dynamics of politics. “The Political Blueprint is a compelling and thought provoking exploration of the intricacies and dynamics of modern politics,” she said.

She further echoed that the book also takes a look at ways that people in politics could use to be deemed good politicians. “It delves into the mechanisms behind successful political strategies and provides insightful analyses of historical political campaigns that have shaped the world we live in today,” Letsholo said. Letsholo, who is a Master’s Degree student at the University of Botswana (UB), exclaimed that the book itself offers readers a unique perspective on the art of political manoeuvring; making it an indispensable read for politicians who are eager to be better politicians they were yesterday.

She highlighted that the book can also be an interesting read to students of political science and anyone who is really passionate about understanding the forces that govern the society. She said she is always looking forward to work with other authors as it adds great value to her career. “Working with these three authors has been a fruitful experience because I learnt a lot from them, their different styles of writing and drawing proper guidance and tips how to fine tune my writing. I intend to keep working with them in the future,” she concluded. The book is priced at P220.
