The event was dedicated to promoting and celebrating local vibrant electronic music scenes, creativity, and culture. The stage setting, sound and everything, however, was top notch. The DJs also kept the audience that found it fit to partake at the event warm with their beautiful play lists. The exhibitors also brought in their A game and ensured that revellers understood their services. There were also a few beautiful art exhibitions. Echoes of The Wild featured live DJ sets, artist performances, art exhibitions, and fashion showcases, capturing the essence of Botswana's artistic spirit. At the event, Kesly Serapo, also known as KZAR was launched. KZAR is a music producer and DJ with three albums under his belt, recently released his latest album, An African Love Story Vol. 1, available now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and all other digital platforms.
Furthermore, there was also live DJ performances where KZAR performed his set with four vocalists featured on his album. Supporting DJs included DJ Sniper BW and DJ Raul Bryan with a one-hour set of Afro House and Afro-Tech. The event was also said to have had a Live Podcast Recording: Hosted by Raul Bryan, featuring interviews with notable artists and industry professionals. The Art Exhibition showcased innovative works from artists such as Thabiso Ernest Setlhabi, who uses recycled materials to create unique art.
Further, The ArtLab was also expected to host an art session for those interested in painting. It was also expected to have a fashion showcase presenting designs that embody the Eco-Wild theme, emphasising creativity with nature in mind. Rockabonke Clothing, Okavango Gear showcased their products. Exhibitors included Ked-Liphi (Pty) Ltd, an innovation-driven enterprise specialising in electronics engineering and pioneering solutions. YDJ Academy, a DJ school for those interested in learning more about DJing, and Kingdom Arts Academy, offering insights into their music school and courses also showcased their products.
