SELEBI-PHIKWE: The newly crowned Miss Selebi-Phikwe 2016, Potso Olekantse, who scooped the title over the weekend, says her next stop will be the next Miss Botswana beauty pageant.

In an interview with Showbiz, the 21-year-old Olekantse from Mmadinare explained that she is determined to empower other young people through platforms such as beauty contests, noting that joining the Miss Botswana pageant will greatly assist her in achieving her purpose of youth empowerment.

She highlighted that she will use her Miss Selebi-Phikwe title to empower young people in the region in a bid to address the alarming unemployment rate they are currently experiencing.
