Miss Supranational will hold the last lap of scouting and auditions this weekend at Capello Restaurant in CBD, Gaborone.

The pageantry organisers have previously held auditions in Kasane, Maun, Gantsi, Kang, Palapye, and Jwaneng.

Miss Supranational, a World Beauty Association-ran international beauty pageant, is held annually. Botswana is set to debut at this year’s 14th Miss Supranational International beauty pageant finale to be held July in Poland.

Entry requirements include being a Motswana woman with a valid Omang, be between the ages of 18 and 30, be at least 1.67m in height, never married, should not be with child or given birth, and should never be convicted of any crime.

Those who want to audition should submit proof of a project and project plan, full body and profile pictures, and brief biography at the auditions. According to the organisers, the candidates must have vibrant personalities, great humility, loyal to the brand, be authentic and kind-hearted with strong aspirations, leadership traits, and qualities such as patience and dedication to working hard for the country.

The search will be conducted in two parts; normal auditions will be held while other contestants will be scouted. There will be auditions where candidates will showcase and face the team in a selection process. According to the organisers, they will engage personalities from the local area to assist with physically looking for potential candidates they feel could qualify.

The scouted women are exempted from paying an audition fee. Candidates can register online or physically, the organisers said.

Miss Supranational is placed among the most prestigious beauty pageants in the world. The first edition of the pageant was held in Poland in 2009, where Ukraine was crowned the winner. It is said that the pageant started with a group of contestants from over 40 countries but the number has since doubled to more than 80 competitors from different continents.

Sex orientation is a touchy subject and for young minds to be sexualised at a young age by a grown man perpetrating harm on them by cutting through their sphincter muscle to penetrate their anal canal. Anyone can...
