With hip hop events not so many in the country a weekly platform dubbed The Interlude Hip Hop Connect, has been established for the genre heads.

The event takes place every Tuesday at Space Lounge (Gaborone) around 8pm. It is an event whereby different hip hop players celebrate the hip-hop culture. Apollo D and upcoming Femcee Jyotika host the event.  “Hip hop is growing everyday but we do not have a lot of events to celebrate the culture. This is a platform whereby different hip hop players such as rappers, producers, DJs and entrepreneurs can meet, network, share ideas, young rappers can also get to interact with OGs,” Apollo D said.  The event is structured in a manner that there are discussions, cypher performances, artists performances and free style.  Apollo D noted that this platform is important because it helps with the development of the hip hop culture and genre as it brings hip hop players under one roof. Seasoned rappers such as Blain, KEB, Shain and Konkrete have graced the event and staged performances.  “The open mic section is meant for everyone but mainly for upcoming rappers to horn their skills and get performance time and exposure.”  With only a few weeks since its inception the event has had a number of hip hop heads attending it. “Numbers keep changing with time, admission is free and we want to keep it that way. We just want people to come in numbers and celebrate hip hop.”  The Interlude Hip Hop Connect joins events such as The War Zone and Kosher Nights Sessions.

Sex orientation is a touchy subject and for young minds to be sexualised at a young age by a grown man perpetrating harm on them by cutting through their sphincter muscle to penetrate their anal canal. Anyone can...
