Born Onkemetse Seretse, the RnB singer left a mark on stage when he performed his song, Lejebejebe. His heart-warming performance was arguably the best of the night as he left the attendants asking for more.
With the awards having started very late, the mood in the GICC conference hall had been somehow dull. Attendants had waited from 6pm until after 9pm when the ceremony commenced.
At the time people were already losing patience, but the organisers were clever enough to open the awards with performances which cooled down the people's tempers.

There were other performances by traditional dance artist Ditiro Leero, who performed the hit song, Sediba sa Ngwao from his album Lesamutlha. Thabang Garogwe, Oscar Chakabuya, Ezra Neethings, Boago Fenju, Suggie Fisher, Eskimos, Zana Cultural Vanguard, DJ Ngwazi as well as winner of Song of the Year award, Kabelo Tiro also serenaded fans with their music on the night.
