Despite the chilly weather, people came dressed in the traditional attires to this event, which was also graced by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Thamaga-Kumakwane Tshenolo Mabeo, government officials as well as the chief and village elders.
On serve were traditional dishes such as seswaa, ditloo, kabu, diphaphatha, mogetlo, bojalwa ja Setswana, dikgobe, bogobe ja lerotse to mention a few. Performances from traditional dance groups, polka dance, poets, traditional guitarists, dikhwaere spiced up the day.
