Samantha Mogwe leads BOMU nominations

When songstress Samantha Mogwe released her Extended Play (EP) titled VII last year, she must have predicted her dominance at this year’s Botswana Musicians Union (BOMU) awards nominees’ reveal and launch after receiving the most nominations (five).

The 12th edition of the BOMU awards was launched Tuesday evening at the Game City Mall Rooftop (Marquee) with Samantha Mogwe’s name called out several times under the nominees’ categories for the much-anticipated awards also announced.

Samantha Mogwe’s September 2022 masterpiece has seen her being nominated for the Song of the Year for her hit with Mpho Sebina titled, Marang. She also got nominated for Best Female, Best Collaboration (Marang ft. Mpho Sebina), Best Music Video for her song VII and Best RnB.
