After disappearing from the entertainment scene for a while, female rapper Sarona ‘Sasa Klaas’ Motlhagodi has returned with a new song MmamoNgwato, which she says empowers femininity in the society.

The song was released last week on various radio stations and music applications such as Sound Cloud. “We have learnt that the feminine side has not been given a chance for expression. Women are always seen as a sex symbol. MmamoNgwato will help remove that mentality,” said Sasa Klaas, who strongly believes in women empowerment in the society. She said the song talks about women having self-esteem, no matter how they look.

With the term MmamoNgwato, she is referring to women with big behinds, since it is believed that Bangwato women have a well-built behind. Skillful music producer, Air Dee who produced the famous hip-hop track Caracara by K.O produced MmamoNgwato in South Africa. Sasa Klaas, who is currently under the mentorship of HHP stated that the song is part of her upcoming album that she is working on.  “I have worked on a number of songs with different producers and artists,” she said.
