It was an occasion to let one’s hair down when Sheilla Moribame stole jazz maestro Tumediso ‘Shanti Lo’ Loeto’s thunder in her curtain raiser performance on Friday.

Moribame, Botswana Confederation of Commerce, Industry and Manpower (BOCCIM) Head of Public Affairs, Marketing and Communications, left many surprised at her performance.

To usher in opening remarks from the BOCCIM President, Sheilla left the audience yearning to see more of the unknown talented singer in her when she belted out Bette Middler’s song, From A Distance. However, Shanti Lo, the main act for the event failed to amuse the audience who did not cheer during his performance.
