Babies seem to have an everlasting enchanting power that has no boundary amongst every living thing. After watching Storks, a 2016 3D animated comedy, it leaves you in cloud nine appreciating the blessing that is to have a new form of life. This comedy centres around the family; what is like to have one and how it can influence one’s life. In this adventure, Storks deliver babies or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global Internet giant Cornerstore.com. Junior, the company’s top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, producing an adorable and wholly unauthorised baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop – in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world.
Animated films are of the bestselling genres as they exaggerate reality beyond our wildest imagination and major Hollywood stars often disguise as funny looking characters. Well, it is no different as this comedy is loaded with funny actors among them Andy Samberg (Hotel Transylvania 3) as the main character being supported by stars from Horrible Bosses 2, Desperado, and Transformers Age of Extinction alongside standup comedians redefining the word crazy. Renowned animators Nick Stoller (Neighbors 2014) and Oscar winning Doug Sweetland (The Incredible) were the brains behind this rib cracking tailored production. Animated films command huge followings as for instance three 2016 animated films have done well on the all time highest grossing film chart with Finding Dory sitting fourth with $1,069,818 billion sales followed by Zootopia on fifth ($1023, 664 billion) then The Secret Life Of Pets coming in at 11th with $872 million according to the all time stats from numbers.com/movie/records/All-Time-Worldwide-Animated. It remains to be seen if Storks will break those records.
