Prof Mokgwathi Is UB New DVC

Professor Martin Mokgwathi has been appointed the new Deputy Vice Chancellor- Student Affairs (DVC-SA) at the University of Botswana, the national institution has announced on its website.

Mokgwathi whose appointment effected January 1, 2016 succeeds Professor Lydia Saleshando who left at the end of 2015 when her contract expired. He has been with the university since 1986 and brings with him a wealth of experience from the teaching service spanning over 26 years.

Mokgwathi rose through the ranks at the university before he assumed his new role.
