MultiChoice Botswana celebrates Customer Service Week from October 7 to 11.

This annual event is dedicated to acknowledging and appreciating the exceptional work of customer service teams and motivating them to do more to improve customer satisfaction. Customer Service Week is a global initiative celebrating the importance of customer service and recognising the contributions of customer service professionals. It provides an opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work and dedication of customer service teams, promote professional development through training and education, foster a positive company culture by recognising and rewarding excellence, strengthen customer relationships by demonstrating a commitment to their satisfaction, and raise awareness of the vital role that customer service plays in business success. This year's Customer Service Week theme, "Above and Beyond," highlights businesses' commitment to surpassing customer expectations.

Throughout this week, MultiChoice will celebrate and recognise the outstanding efforts of employees who have consistently exceeded expectations to serve our customers, creating positive, lasting impressions that contribute to our success. In honouring achievements, the business encourages all team members to strive for excellence, fostering a culture where exceptional service becomes the norm. The objective is to continue raising the bar and delivering unparalleled customer experiences.

Stephanie Pillay, the Managing Director of MultiChoice Botswana, emphasised the importance of this week by stating, "Service is at the heart of our business, and our teams play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a seamless and enjoyable viewing experience. We will honour team dedication, hard work, and commitment to outstanding service." The Head of Customer Experience and Care, Mr Walter Tauyatswala, hopes staff members will be even more motivated to continue to offer exceptional service. Mr. Letlhogonolo Rasekopo, Call Centre Supervisor, was voted the 2024 Customer Service Hero.
