BNSC appreciates sponsors

At the BNSC Sponsors Day held at Phakalane on Thursday night, he said sponsors have helped sport codes to retain skills and attract foreign scouts and talent to ply their trades in Botswana. "Now we see our players doing well in countries like Namibia, the DRC and of course South Africa, and all this is through the support we get from the sponsors," Reikeletseng said.
He said the Thursday event came at a time when all stakeholders need to engage with each other and appreciate efforts in making sure that sport is developed at all levels. He is hopeful that with the help of sponsors, Botswana will successfully host the Africa Youth Games next May.Reikeletseng said that last year alone, local sponsors injected P25,814,322.72 into sport while the government gave at least P60 million.Various sponsors were honoured by the BNSC with Orange Botswana topping the awards list. The guest speaker was Mascom CEO Jose Vieira Couceiro.
