BNSC releases list of awards nominees

The Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) has released the nominees for its 33rd annual awards.

Speaking at the event on Friday, the chairperson of BNSC, Solly Reikeletseng said that they will continue to roll out the red carpet to those who continue to raise the nation's flag high.

He rubbished allegations that they put more resources in the ceremony than in performance.He said that it is worth billions for the athletes to stand in the podium watched by people all over the world. He said athletes' efforts will never be paid back and even what the BNSC is doing at the awards ceremony is not enough.
