Botswana Softball Association (BSA) is searching for more league sponsors ahead of the beginning of the second year of the BoFiNet sponsorship. The 2016/2017 league season would be launched in Sowa Town on Saturday.

BSA received P4.5 million from BoFiNet in a three-year deal, which translates to P1.5 million per season. The winners of the 2015/16 season pocketed P100,000 while runners up took home P65,000. Third placed teams walked away with P40,000 while the last placed team received P7,000.

BSA marketing and public relations officer, Kelebogile Seitei told Mmegi Sport yesterday that they are actively looking for more sponsors to augment what BoFINet is giving them as the league has become costly to run over the years.
