The coordinator of the Inter-Club Boxing tournament held at the Sir Seretse Khama Barracks on Saturday has said the event was a success considering that boxers were just returning from a long lay-off caused by the December holidays.

Mathata Thingwane said the turnout was very good and the standards were high showing that the boxers were not rusty. The competition ended on a high note with a thrilling bout between Francistown pugilist Rocky Bathobasele and Wame Mmoloki in the 69kg.
