Fire 998 win Five-A-Side tourney

SELEBI – PHIKWE: Fire 998 team are the champions of the inaugural SOMAG women’s Five-A-Side soccer tournament held in Selebi-Phikwe over the weekend.

Shining Stars were the runners up while Gorgeous Girls and Copper Nickel finished  third and fourth respectively. A private company, Social Magnet Entertainment organised the charity tournament to raise funds for orphanage centres in both Botshabelo South and Botshabelo North.  

Company chairperson, Kabelo Kepaletswe said proceeds from the tournament will be used towards buying clothing hampers for 248 orphans in Botshabelo South and Botshabelo North orphanage centres.
