Gunners brace for Rollers backlash

The Township Rollers juggernaut came to a screeching halt last Saturday at the hands of a rampant Police XI striker, Ishmael Amponsah in a 2-1 defeat. The Ghanaian striker’s brace was enough to condemn Rollers to their first defeat of the season.

And now, impressive Lobatse side, Extension Gunners face the wounded log leaders’ fury. In what is expected to be a blood and thunder encounter at the National Stadium tomorrow night, Rollers would seek to quickly put their title ambitions back on track.

With the first defeat the aura of Rollers’ invincibility suddenly disappeared. Other teams, starting with Gunners tomorrow would be eager to further wreck Rollers’ progress.
