Moluba called me mokwerekwere, insulted my parents - Phiri

TAFIC’s Zimbabwean defender, Samuel Phiri has said he slapped Township Rollers winger, Edwin 'Moluba' Moalosi after he insulted his parents and called him a mokwerekwere, a derogatory word referring to a foreigner.

Phiri was sent off in a feisty, tempestuous BTC Premiership affair which ended 1-1 on Tuesday night at the UB Stadium.

Speaking to Mmegi Sport this morning, Phiri said after he was red carded, Moalosi uttered insulting words targeted at his parents, and also called him a mokwerekwere.
