The Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Thapelo Olopeng yesterday hailed Botswana’s outstanding athletes Nijel Amos and Isaac Makwala for their continued hard work and dedication.

Speaking at the two athletes’ welcome ceremony at the National Stadium yesterday, Olopeng congratulated both athletes for a job well done.  “I also wish to thank their managers, coaches and sponsors for bringing out the best in them,” he said. Olopeng pleaded with everyone, including the government, private sector, sports administrators and Batswana to pledge support in any way possible.
